I've spent the last 20 years working for rural communities, small businesses, and the people that call those places home. I've served in elected municipal leadership, transitioning through the ranks of City Council to Mayor. I have been championing the dreams of individuals wanting to create their own way of life to provide for their families, to have a safe place to live, work and play.

Many times, the resources and efforts to help them achieve that goal fell just a little short because it didn't fit the framework that was available. Even in my own career path the time came that directions were chosen for me that didn't match the map I had envisioned.

I have been fortunate to experience a journey that allowed me to finally recognize I already had what I was looking for - the message, the direction, the resources I had been trying to provide those aspiring business owners! I had the content! What was missing was the vehicle to deliver.

It seems UNREAL to be able to not only fulfill my PASSION for building in the community, but also be able to provide for my PURPOSE - my family.
